It was mounted on a 'Tropical' strap made of a new composite material that was ultra-resistant to traction and UV rays.
The Aquanaut Reference 5164/1A-001 is fitted with a self-winding mechanical movement.

The steel bracelet has a patented Patek Phlippe folding clasp.
