The Patek Philippe Nautilus was launched in 1976 with the rounded octagonal shape of the bezel, the ingenious porthole architecture of the case and the dial with its horizontal relief motif, with the aim of encapsulating the concept of elegance and sportiness in a single watch.
The Patek Philippe Nautilus Reference 5712G, in white gold, features a mechanical self-winding Calibre 240 PS IRM C LU movement. It features a winding indicator on the dial, a dedicated seconds subdial on the left and moon phases. This version features a gray-slate dial with applied gold hour markers with a luminescent coating and is fitted with an alligator leather bracelet with a white gold "deployante" clasp.
